2012 Winners

The 45th Annual Canton Lake Walleye Rodeo ended successfully on Sunday afternoon. Damage from the May 24 tornado and drought that lowered the lake level almost 12 feet made many wonder if the annual event would take place. Thanks to the hard work from a dedicated group of people and rainfall that helped raise the lake level, then Rodeo took place.

Registration was down some, but those who came had a good time. There were 434 fishermen registered, 379 Oklahomans and 55 from out of state. The Kid's Derby on Sunday drew 215 kids.
